Reference clients

Named-client references available under NDA before signing — typical: US/EU SaaS scaleups (10–200 engineers), agencies, fintech operators. Most embedded engineers have 18+ months of tenure with their assigned client.

Engagement model

Monthly retainer per embedded engineer. No minimum commitment, 30-day notice to scale up or down. Pricing scales by seniority and specialisation. We don't bill hours; we bill outcomes — your engineer is your engineer for the month, full-time.

Frequently asked questions — Team Augmentation

What's the minimum commitment?

30 days notice to scale up or down — that's it. Most engagements run multi-year. Some clients ramp 5 → 10 → 5 over a year as their roadmap shifts.

Will the engineer be dedicated to us, or shared?

Dedicated. Full-time, your priorities only. Different from agencies that pool engineers across clients.

Can the engineer work as a 1099 contractor instead?

We're the legal employer (Macedonian or Kosovan EOR). You pay one consolidated invoice each month — no contractor compliance burden on your side.

What if the engineer doesn't work out?

We replace within 14 days. The first 90 days have a no-questions termination clause built in.

Time-zone — does the engineer work my hours?

Yes. Standard schedule: 12pm-9pm local for US East Coast clients (4-6 hrs morning overlap). Standard 9-6 local for EU clients.

How do they get equipment + accounts?

We supply the laptop + peripherals + software licences (or you ship from your office). Day-one accounts in your Slack, GitHub, Linear, Figma, etc. — provisioned by your IT before start date.

IP, NDA, non-compete?

Standard EOR contracts include IP assignment to you, NDA, and a 12-month non-compete against direct competitors. Bake into the employment agreement at hire time.

Can we hire them full-time after a year?

Yes — see /outsourcing/services/employer-of-record. The 'Exception for Early Direct Employment' clause requires payment of a buyout fee (6 monthly salaries + 6 Merot fees) for converting before the 24-month standard period. After 24 months, they're yours with no fee.
