Mobile driver workflow

Drivers get a clear route, not spreadsheets and phone calls

The app guides drivers through pickup, scanning, delivery, COD collection, delivery proof, and failed delivery, with sync when connectivity is weak.

What drivers do in the app

Daily route

Driver sees stops, order, addresses, contact, notes, and COD amount.

Scanning

Camera scans barcode or QR at pickup, loading, delivery, and return.

GPS proof

Each important status can store GPS coordinate and timestamp for audit.

Signature and photo

Customer signs on the phone and driver adds a photo when needed.

COD collection

The app shows the exact amount, records collection, and flags differences.

Offline sync

Actions queue locally and upload when the phone reconnects.

Daily driver process

01

Receives route

Driver logs in and sees the route with stops and priorities.

02

Scans shipments

Each parcel is confirmed by barcode or QR before going into the vehicle.

03

Delivers

At address, driver scans, collects COD if needed, captures signature, photo, and GPS.

04

Hands over cash and returns

At shift end, COD and returns are handed to branch with confirmation.

Frequently asked questions

Is special hardware required?

No. The app runs on a standard iOS or Android phone with a camera.

What if the driver has no internet?

Actions can queue locally and sync when connectivity returns.

Can the driver change the route?

Dispatcher can allow or limit changes. Every change remains in the audit trail.

Is COD visible in real time?

Yes, when the phone is connected. Offline collections sync later.
