Shipment scanning

Every parcel moves by scan, not assumption

Scanning creates a clear chain of custody: who had the parcel, where it was, when loaded, when delivered, and what happened if delivery failed.

Where scanning is used

Intake

Shipment receives a label, barcode, or QR at shipper intake.

Loading

Driver scans what enters the vehicle and the system knows what is missing.

Branch

Branch confirms receipt, sorting, transfer to agent, or return.

Delivery

Address scan links status with signature, photo, GPS, and COD.

Return

Returned parcels scan back into branch with reason and next action.

Audit trail

Every scan has user, time, location, status, and related event.
