⚠ Indicative only. Always verify exact rules in the relevant procedural law (ZPP, ZKP, ZUP, ZIP). Specific case-types may have shorter or different deadlines.

FAQ

When is 'day 0'?

The triggering event date (e.g. judgment delivery, contract signing) is day 0. The deadline is N days after — the calculator handles MK ZPP §111 conventions for counting (calendar days; if the deadline falls on a non-business day, it's pushed to the next business day).

Does court vacation always apply?

No — court vacation suspends procedural deadlines for civil cases by default but several urgent procedures (e.g. detention reviews, interim measures) run through the vacation. Toggle off if your case is exempt.

Why is missing a deadline a malpractice issue?

Procedural deadlines are *prekluzivni* — once they pass, your right to appeal/file is lost. Missing a deadline triggers professional indemnity claims and is the #1 cause of MK lawyer-malpractice litigation. Always set 30/14/7/3/1-day reminders + a backup colleague.
