The Assistant Project Manager (APM) supports the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and overseeing construction projects from initiation to completion. This role involves managing documentation, communicating with stakeholders, tracking schedules and budgets, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Project Manager in all phases of project execution.
Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
Track project schedules, deliverables, and deadlines.
Help prepare budgets, cost estimates, and progress reports.
Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and meeting minutes.
Address and resolve minor project issues in coordination with the Project Manager.
Communicate project updates to stakeholders in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field (preferred).
1–3 years of construction or project management experience.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Proficiency with construction project management software and MS Office Suite.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
