Job Summary

Phase3 is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Construction Estimator to join our team. The Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for subcontracted work, collaborating with project managers, and supporting the bid process from start to finish. This role is crucial to helping Phase3 win profitable projects and maintain strong client relationships.

• Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documents to prepare detailed estimates for labor, materials, and equipment.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and cost analysis for assigned trades.
• Solicit and evaluate quotes from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare and submit bid packages in a timely and organized manner.
• Assist in pre-construction meetings and value engineering discussions.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate job costing and budget adherence.
• Maintain historical cost databases and pricing templates for future use.
• Identify potential risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Attend site visits, pre-bid meetings, and client walkthroughs as needed.

• Proven experience as a Construction Estimator, ideally with a subcontractor.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural and engineering drawings.
• Advanced skills in estimating software (e.g., PlanSwift, Bluebeam, or similar).
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
