Frequently asked questions

What's the difference vs Merot HRS payroll?

Same calc engine. HRS is HR-first (for HR teams). Finance is accounting-first (for accountants) — it auto-posts to the chart of accounts.

Can I run payroll for multiple clients?

Yes — each client company has its own employees, payroll, and journals. Switch via X-Company-Id.

How does the journal mapping work?

Configurable per component: gross (expense), pension (liability), health (liability), PIT (liability), net (employee payable).

Are overtime/night/holiday handled?

Yes — standard rates +35% (overtime, night) / +50% (holidays, Sundays). Customisable.

Are contractors supported?

Yes — contractor regime with PDDGI XML for UJP. No social contributions.

What about back-dated payroll?

Corrections on finalised batches supported. The system generates a corrective MPIN + reversal/new journal entry.
